They tried to create something with a deeper story focusing on the survivors, while also updating the zombies into something more terrifying. Unfortunately, it just fell a bit flat.

Audience Member Definitely not the worst movie I have seen. If you're looking for a movie where the characters have to fight humanoid monsters it's worth the watch. It also has a decent ending.
